In March 2020 we made our way down ‘The World’s Best Driving Road’ (the N222) in Portugal, creating a film celebrating both the amazing scenery and the Mazda CX-5.
Luke and Hugo had a blast, working with local police to shut down sections of the road as they progressed along it. We used our RED Gemini for ground-level shots, the DJI Inspire 2 for aerial and bonnet-mounted tracking shots, and a couple of rolls of Super8 film as some nice textural cutaways.
We also enjoyed composing a bespoke piece of music for this, using traditional Fado guitar as our starting point.
